2D1N Lantan Crater Rim Trekking

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Kawangan Rinjani Lantan Rim (2,639m)

This 2-day trek offers a perfect adventure for nature lovers who want to explore the hidden gem of Lombok’s mountains. You’ll hike through lush forests, enjoy panoramic views, and witness the magical sunset and sunrise from the crater rim.

Itinerary

Day 1 – BC to Kawangan Rinjani Lantan Rim (2,639m)

  • 05:30 AM – After breakfast, we will pick you up from your homestay.

  • 07:30 AM – Start trekking from Puk Usen Base Camp to Kokoh Lenek. Short break with snacks/fruits and refill water.

  • 08:00 AM – Continue trekking across the forest towards Monte Forest (2-hour walk).

  • 10:00 AM – Coffee/tea break with fruits and refill full water supply.

  • 10:30 AM – Trek for about 2 more hours.

  • 12:30 PM – Arrive at Padang Re (Three Dead Palm Trees) for lunch.

  • 01:30 PM – Continue trekking.

  • 02:30 PM – Short rest above Cemara Siyu, enjoy snacks/fruits.

  • 02:45 PM – Trek for another 1 hour.

  • 03:45 PM – Arrive at Geres and refill water.

  • 04:30 PM – Continue trekking through Jurang Dongak Langit.

  • 05:00 PM – Reach the top, enjoy the magical sunset and the “cloud spread bed” view.

  • 06:00 PM – Head to campsite, enjoy bonfire, dinner, and overnight camping under the stars.

Day 2 – Kawangan Rinjani Lantan Rim to Base Camp

  • 05:30 AM – Wake up to breathtaking views: the summit, crater rim, Segara Anak Lake, the new volcano, and sunrise. Enjoy coffee/tea and snacks.

  • 06:30 AM – Breakfast at the campsite.

  • 07:30 AM – Pack up and begin descent.

  • 08:00 AM – Stop at Geres to refill water.

  • 08:30 AM – Continue trekking down.

  • 10:00 AM – Rest at Padang Re with drinks and fruits.

  • 10:15 AM – Trek down for about 1 hour.

  • 12:00 PM – Arrive at Monte Forest, enjoy lunch.

  • 12:30 PM – Continue trekking down to Kokoh Lenek.

  • 02:00 PM – Arrive at Lenek, enjoy snacks, coffee/tea, and fruits before transfer back.
